Romney House Surgery

How Do I....
Obtain A Repeat Prescription?

Requests for repeat prescriptions must be handed over the counter or posted to the surgery. These are only available without you seeing your doctor if they have been previously authorised by that doctor. If you are on long-term medication, please order your next repeat with plenty of time to spare. Authorisation for repeat medication may last up to one year only. You will be informed on your computer slip if the authorisation for your medication has expired. If so, you will need to see your doctor before your next prescription can be issued. Please note we require 48 hours' notice for repeat prescriptions.

Repeatable prescribing may soon become an option. Our dispensary staff will offer details at the time.

Obtaining Your Medication

We are very fortunate in having two dispensing chemists situated within easy reach of the practice. Norman Bells Chemist is situated within the surgery itself. Lloyd’s Pharmacy is situated a few doors along Long Street.

Dispensing Patients

We are able to offer a direct dispensing service to patients from many of the outlying villages. If you are a dispensing patient, you may telephone requests in advance of picking up your prescription. (There are weekly deliveries to some villages - details from the reception desk.)

THIS FORM IS CURRENTLY DISABLED - PLEASE USE ONE OF THE ALTERNATIVE METHODS MENTIONED ABOVE TO REQUEST PRESCRIPTIONS.

Please refer to the information above for prescription requests.
