Ring the above number during opening hours and we will do our best to fit you in with your doctor when it is convenient for you. We aim always to meet the 48 hour access targets. Secondary care referrals can be made to a wide choice of consultants - your doctor will explain about the choices available.

Urgent Problems

If you feel that for medical reasons you ought to be seen the same day, please say so to the receptionist when you ring up. We will be able to fit you in for an assessment of your problem, although this may not be with your own doctor.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

If you feel you need a doctor to visit you at home please call the surgery before 10.30am. (This applies equally at weekends and bank holidays.)

Please only ask to be visited at home if you are too ill to be brought in to the surgery. In particular most sick children can quite safely be brought to the surgery by car.

How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?

For confidentiality and staffing reasons, most test results are not available over the telephone or at the reception desk. Be sure to ask your doctor how you may obtain the results to your tests when they ask you to provide samples.
